Adding Some 2-Way to the Storymaze

Barging in, in between the regular(ish) episodes with a new add to our Storymazing together: a Subscriber Chat.

The Substack app has a feature for a conversation space set up just for subscribers — kind of like a group chat or live hangout. I’m going to use this to post gray matter kickstarters and “in-between” updates that come to mind — and might make for some intriguing back-and-forth. ‘Cause of course it’s a chance for you to jump in directly.

Now this does require you to download the Substack app for either iPhone or Android. (Or both, if for some reason you like to sling both devices.) I’m not generally a fan of “one more app” but this is the way chats are set up to work right now.

How to get going…

1. Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. You can get Substack Chat on both iPhone and Android.

2. Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two chat balloons in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for our Storymaze chat inside.

3. It’s that simple! (I hope!) Jump into the thread to say hi — and let’s start some mini-Storymazes of our own. If you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
